Happy Dance, Happy Dance!  The sun has decided to join us again and we are ready to play.  After some crazy winter weather and real snow for the first time I remember and probably the only time my kids will see it.  We loved making snow men and snow angels but geez there it’s been cold.  I sure hope the sun is here to stay for a while, all those cold, cloudy days really sucked the life out of me and my children are ready to play outside again.

 

Before we know the Easter Bunny will make his appearance and all the kids will get to wear their pretty Easter clothes.    I’m excited for us to finally make it to a McMom’s Easter party this year, it seems something always comes up but this year I’m determined we are going to make it.  See all the party information on Big Tent and in the parties section of the newsletter.

 

Spring also has lots of other activities to keep me busy.  Garage sale is coming up and I’ve yet to pull out the bins much less start tagging and getting things ready.  I’ll get it all done just in time I’m sure.  Be sure to look under files in Beg Tent for guidelines, tags and the flyer.  Be sure to share the flyer will all your friends, post at work , ask your child day care or school to post it for you, anything you can do to get the word out will help us have another successful sale.

 

Convention is coming in April and I can’t wait to hang with all my fellow multiples mommies and meet some new people.  If you have never been to convention you should really plan to attend this one especially since it is in Dallas so easy to get to!  We always have so much fun and if you haven’t heard the saying yet, “what happens at convention stays at convention”!  This will be my 4^th convention and every year I get more excited.

 

And finally our club year is more than half over.  Do you know what that means?  That means it’s time for me to start harassing, urr umm I mean recruiting for next year! Have you ever wondered what it takes to make McMoms successful?  What sort of time requirements there is to have the meetings, parties and other McMoms events?  Well there is a wonderful group of ladies that meet the 1^st Thursday of every month that make sure that McMoms runs smoothly.  If you have ever thought about joining the board but you aren’t sure that you have the time please call me or any of the board members none of the jobs are that difficult or time consuming and can fit into stay at home moms time and working moms schedules.  What happens if we don’t have a board?  Well it’s pretty sad, if we don’t have a board we won’t have a club!  I can’t imagine how sad it would be to not have my McMoms family or to be able to have a forum to discuss the challenges of raising multiples.  This is a very real possibility, if people don’t step up the club will not be around next year.  I’m begging you ladies please don’t let this happen.
