Text Box: Throughout the year McMoms has multiple activities in addition to our regularly scheduled meetings. These activities include parties to celebrate holidays and special events throughout the year, playgroups, new member teas, and a bi-annual garage sale. Text Box: Highlights on Upcoming Events

Tiny Tots                  
This group is for children from birth to walking. Although the very young kiddos might not get much from the group now, it is nice for the new M.O.M.s to get out in a laid-back environment with others parents who understand what it is like to have multiples! Also it is nice to have the little ones to get acquainted now so that they have early interactions and “multiple” friends their age with whom they can grow and learn! Mobile Munchkins               
After the little guys begin walking, the “real fun” begins and it is time to move up to the Mobile Munchkins group! This group is for children ages 12 - 36 months and their siblings. These playgroups are held at a park, home, mall playground area, or anywhere else the group desires. This is a great age to get your children around other children to socialize, make new friends, and be in new surroundings. Worker Bees         
Due to parents’ work schedules or other conflicts, we understand that all parents cannot make it to a playgroup during the weekdays. That’s why we have the Worker Bees group! This playgroup meets on Saturdays and/or Sundays to accommodate all schedules. The next playgroup is scheduled for Saturday, June 23. Please contact us at anything@mcmoms.org with “Worker Bees” in the subject line if you are interested in this group.                  

General Playgroup               
This group is open to all ages. We want the older, school-age children of McMoms to be able to get out and mingle as well. Now that it is summer, the school aged kids especially need to have time to be around other children. · General Meeting: It’s an April Fool’s surprise.  That’s right.  The March meeting is on April 1st.  Our guest speaker will bring us up-to-date on CPR and First Aid.  She’ll also give us some tips on how to get certified .  Ever tried giving your kids a food that was good for them, yet they wouldn’t try it due to bad press?  Did you mash it up and hide it in the casserole?  Well bring your best ‘hidden’ dish and we’ll all eat healthy. 

· Discussion Groups: We will be starting groups to exchange age appropriate ideas, tips and advice each meeting.  From 7:00pm to 7:20pm moms can gather to swap information and get tips from ladies who have ‘been there and done that’. 

· Garage Sale:  Do you smell it?  It’s the fragrance of a great deal!  Garage Sale is in a short time.   Reserve the dates of March 26 & 27 for shopping at the Keller Lions Club.  Members wishing to sell, remember info sheets are attached and March 25th is set up.   Want to bring a prospective or friend to early shopping?  Make sure to get an invitation from Big Tent files.

· Easter Party:  Suit up for the Easter Bunny and the Great Egg Hunt!  Big trees, excellent playground and plenty of room to run down those eggs. (see Big Tent for specifics)  We’ll also have access to Peter Cottontail for photos. 

· TMOM Conference: is coming in April the 22-25th.  Reserve some time for mingling with other moms of multiples and I’ll see you Sunday at the party for National Twins Awareness Month.
